personally, id go with the 3rd. also, just FYI, you can remove that ugly red mesh stuff on the reverse lights. 02-03 have the same shit on theirs. they look 1000 times better that way. good luck with either one you choose.

Have you or anyone else actually removed the red mesh from the 3rd gen JDM tails? I ask because I saw no way to do it when I had some in my hand. It looked as though the red mesh was in between pieces of clear plastic on the JDM tails. It wasn't like the 02-03 tails where you could just pull it out through the bulb hole.

i personally have not done it. but there was a car on here with it partially cleared out. the only red mesh part left was the horizontal outline of the reverse light and the outline of that circle. none of that extra red mesh running thru the white part.

you would probably have to put then in the over and pull them apart and then get surgical with them.
