A Few Headlight Questions!

1) I wanted to see if somebody can post some pic of some 2001 AND 2002 clear headlights. PLEASE HAVE THE PICS OF CLEAR ONES. The reason for this and i am gettin a 2003 Galant and i dont no if i want the new style lights of the old ones.

2) When you remove the light to clear the corners do you have to get the headlights set again??

3) Please dont get mad but can you post the link to the rewire corner light diagram?

1) If I'm not mistaken, the 2002 and 2003 lights are the same. The 2002 is when they started using the black housing (I want those lights!) I don't have a pic of mine, but look in the members ride section and I'm sure you can find some.

2) No, when you remove the headlight you take out the entire assembly and it does'nt affect the headlight alignment at all.

FishBoy55 I know that the 2002 and the 2003 lights are the same i wanted to see the differences in the 2001 and the 2002 lights. Thanks Wayne

THe Only difference is the 2001 looks more chrome and the 2002s look like they have a headlight cover on it (Black) give me a secI'll looks up some pics.

OK here is a picture of the 2002 Galant. If you look at the headlights you will notice the dark Background.

Now if you look at a 2001s headlight you can see that the majority of it is chrome.

I would think that people would want the more chrome but why do peeps want the 2002 lights. What do you think would look best on a 2003 GTZ? the factory lights of 01 lights? Thanks Again Wayne

Wayne, the reason I like the 2002 lights is because of the black housing. I've got a black GTZ so I think those lights would look awesome on my car. On other colors, I agree, the chrome looks better. Just my opinion. Wanna trade headlights with me? I say u keep the headlights u have now for a while. start doing some mods, choose the accent colors and stuff for your car and then choose thenyou don't want to switch to chrome and then later one notice that the darker housing would match on your car...
