JDM Taillight install

Ok I got my taillights in and i orderd the wiring harness from the nissan dealer. thay should be here tomorrow. I will post picks with an install and the part numbers taht will be needed to complete the install. Should be able to do it possibly on friday or so.

Yeah, since the JDM tails use different bulbs and sockets than the stock ones, you have to either bore out the holes of the JDM tails so the stock sockets fit, get a JDM harness, or find the right size sockets elsewhere and make your own harness. I had made a post a while back letting everyone know that some Nissans use the sockets that are needed for the JDM tails.

where did u get the taillights from cooldog? i got a JDM harness off ebay awhile ago and havent seen the tailights on there since. :cry: let me know. thanks

Getting Nissan harnesses won't be cheap though. You may want to keep an eye on Ebay because every once in a while I see JDM harnesses on there. There is a seller by the name of jpspecz on Ebay who is always selling JDM Galant tails, headlights, and grills. I think that's the seller who I've seen with the JDM harnesses as well. You might want to email them and see if they can get a set for you.

I can't remember, but I believe the JDM harnesses were like $30 or so. Getting harnesses from a Nissan dealer will be alot more than that.
