I just hate the tiny srtock horn. You hit it and it's like "um...'scuse me...beep-beep". Now put in an air horn - or maybe yours, and it's more like "MOVE! :evil: I SAID MOVE!!!"...LOL

that's actually really true. if you had something loud, it will startle people and really make them move or wake up. My room mate's miata horn is quieter and shittier than a Ferrari's toot toot horn. You can barely hear it, it's just a speaker that plays the same sound. Like a computer speaker, not a loud horn. The 7G horns are kinda shitty too, not very loud really.

I was driving once and a 18 wheeler was next to me. Some guy cut him off and all I hear is

He had put a train horn on his truck. I pissed my pants when I heard that thing.

i just searched around online for different cb radios, cuz i couldnt find standalone pa systems. i ended up getting a lower end Cobra model, and the PA horns arnt too expensive online.

installing it was pretty easy, just ran power to the CB radio, and stuck the horn under the hood and wired that too.

i also bought a CB antenna that uses ur already existant radio antenna just so i have that functionality, havnt used it much other than messing around with friends, but i guess its a lil extra thing to have

Awhile back I was looking in JCWhitney catalog and I was thinking about getting a semi's air horn...but then I saw the train horns! oooooh baby. 150+ deci!!!! but i still just cant fathom spending over $150 just for horns.
