I have the Eibachs, which are supposed to be 1.8" (even though it HAS to be more than that) front, 1" back maybe?

I rub with that, so sportlines (or other 2" drops) surely will too,in case that's what you were wondering. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Only on turns or when I have more than two people in the car.

Last night was BAD.

The rubbing could be the result of tire size. Try a 215/40/18 tire or even better 215/35/18...that should lessen the rubbing issues.

35s will increase the cringing over potholes. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
