Stupid dealership! woodgrain for '01 sucks... I want silver

Wassup all, I own an '01 Galant es. I had asked the dealership if they thought the silver trim for the '02+ galants would be swapable with the '01, but they said "no". They look exactly the same to me. Does anybody know for sure if it won't work? I hate the damn wood look. If anyone wants the wood and has silver, I will definitely trade. I live in Queens NY.

They are wrong. NOTHING changed in the interior between 99-03 Galants. Its a direct swap. I'd post in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum asking if another member wants to trade interior pieces, or you can call around to junkyards.
