one mo thing ,You might need a spring compressor, otherwise when you take it off it will pop out. and also its easier to take it off and put it back on.

I was just looking at the instructions that Kingman sent fro the Celica. For the rear installation it says to knock off the factor spring perch (bottom). does that mean yuo can't go back to factory springs?

Hey Kingman do you have the instructions for the Eclipse yet?

I got the instruction for Eclipse/Galabt but it doesn't really help , cause it only shows 1 Coilover and it says Instruction for Eclipse/Galant/Talon FRONT AND BACK.

while i have 2 different kind of Coilover, 1 pair with short spring and the other pair with longer spring !! so it didn't help much !!! i'm still waiting for Kingman to clarify this !! which 1 is front and which 1 rear ????

longer spring is in the front.

They are for an eclipse so to know for sure you have to compare them to an eclipse. The sleeve without the aluminum retainer inside will not slide over the front shock. This is the one with the short spring.

The one with retainer inside. Only one end will slide over the eclipse shock. The tube actually rests on this retainer. This has the longer spring.

hope this helps efiLnikcuFeciN, so the instructions for the Eclipse/Galnt are no help? If you have them handy can you email then to me? [email protected]

Want to get my coilovers on asap, but I want them on right the first time. Know what I mean?

i just finished installing my pro kit today and those two big bolts on each front side gave me a hard time. i had to buy a 250ft-lb torque wrench for those things. i just returned it back to pepboys though after i was done.

took me about 4hrs! 2hrs for the first front spring. i had a hard time trying to torqe the jam nut (middle bolt) since the upper spring seat moves with it and i didn't have a spring seat holder tool (MB99176). So after about an hour, i finally thought of putting the strut assembly back, then torque the jam nut from the strut tower.

the rear springs are easier. i didn't even have to compress the pro kit springs.

i don't have power tools and now my fingers and my back are hurting. ouch. but it's all well worth it.
