battery and break lights

my abttery and break lights stay on after the car is started and all of the other lights are off.....kind of funny because i go down the road and they go off and at night i can tell a big difference in the headlights, its like its draining the battery or something but i still don't know about the break light

so you are saying when u drive the car around the battery lights go off?? how about if you sit the car in park and rev the car up, does the battery light still go on or does it stay off?

to me, it sounds like your charging system isn't keeping up...

your altenator is about to crap out on you. To be sure you should have that and the battery tested.

Autozone does free electrical system analysis I think.
