I am in love....
Let it be known that a short shifter can make all the difference in feel and throw of a manual Galant. I have only had it in for a matter of hours and already my car feels more the sports model it is supposed to be.
For anyone who believes most kits to be a 30 minute install, think again, this was not an easy install. The spring used to keep it centered in neutral is a biatch to reset and the fitment of at least the ebay item ( not unexpected ) can cause some issues with clearance of some of the trim pieces. I will find a camera and show you, but for now, I am in love with it, all the little problems put aside, this thing just feels right.

Just a better shift all around. Couple this with my nearly new hydraulic system (stemming from some failures of the master cyl and the caniser outside the tranny) it has made my car shift like a not only a new car, but one that is a bit sportier now.
