tps adjustment

hey i just replaced the tps on my galant, and i need some help adjusting it. The instructions for the adjustment of the TPS in my repair manual dont make sense... at all... and im pretty mecahnically inlcined, i just need to know what wires to connect everything to. the diagrams suck... thanks in advance.

If you replaced the TPS with OEM it should be a direct fit. You do not need to cut or replace wires. It should be 1 plug.

If you need I could try to email later tonight some info from my manual.

Also, to check for the installation, use a DVOM and when the tps is in close position it should read 0 and when open is around 49.5 to 50.5 ohms.

i should have been more clear. I need to know where to connect the ohmeter.

pins 3 and 4 the ones that point to the top of the unit (away from intake).
