i need a drop for my car cus i was looking at it and realized it looked really stupid with like a 5 inch space between the front wheels and car. So i was wondering how much it would cost to lower it maybe an inch and a half or 2 and if there is anyone in the long island area who could do it for me i would pay them.

thanks

I got progress springs from optauto.com they ran me about a hundred and change shipped. cost me 200 to have them installed
and about a year later I got kyb agx struts ran me 340.00 shipped, got them off a club 3g group buy....again cost me 200 to have installed
lesson I learned. you are most likely gonna have to replace the stock struts anyways...so get them done at the same time
so install will be 200 rather then 400

$200 for a spring install?!!! Thats crazy
total for everything? I dont kno depends on what springs ur getting and if ur going to get aftermarket struts but i'll charge between $40-$60

Ya are install them yourself (if you have the tools/time/space). It really isn't hard at all, just takes time.

I have progress and I love them, though my stock struts are almost totally blown (figures).

i got intrax springs installed on my 7g galant. way better than my old eibachs. drop is perfect and ride is way better than the soft, floaty stock springs. got them paired up with kyb gas shocks up front. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

All I can say is get the springs and struts then holla when u wanna put em on, it only takes bout 45 minutes with the right tools(I like to use air power) just think bout what u wanna do and how to go about it. Be patient and give yourself time to make the right decision.

its not essential. but in the long run its better to get them all in teh same time. just cuz when they blow out, and they will quicker, you're gonna have to take everything apart again and put in the new shocks. and thats gonna cost a ton of cash for sum1 else to install or a nice saturday gone by if you install them yourself.
