gaskets?

ok...i'm gonna change my plugs and wires...do i need an intake manifold gasket? and i'm also going to paint my valve cover...do i need a valve cover gasket? or are the gaskets rubber and re-usable?

You will want a valve cover gasket. You CAN re-use it if you use a light coat of silicone but it will start leaking eventually. I didnt replace mine and it started to leak a few months after I painted mine...

You dont need an intake mani gasket....

Any time you separate any two parts that have a gasket, it is a good idea to replace it. Just in case. Most gaskets are compression activated, so when the parts are separated, the piece needs replacement.
