if you adjusted anything on the throttle body, youve screwed it up.
the adjustments NEVER need to be tweaked unless someone has already tweaked them.

that said, it sounds like nothing more than a dirty throttle body.
place the adjustments back to stock (if possible), and clean the throttle.
if it doesnt work, something is broken.

I wanted to change my fuel filter, can anybody tell if how hard of a job this is ??? I have a chilton's, and it sounds pretty easy Iam just unclear of how to get to the fuel pump to shut it off and depressurizing the fuel system. THANKZ PEEPS !!! Depressurizing fuel system? the "right" way is a pain in the butt. I just take off the gas cap, and let the little bit that's left just hit the ground (usually about 5 drops, which is why I don't worry about it) Changing your fuel filter is very easy, just be sure you have the right tools, and someone to help dosen't hurt either. If you strip those threads you're screwed so take your time. Otherwise, it's basically just unscrew the old, put on the new one, start the car and check for leaks. Oh, and change those crush washers. Not 100% necessary, but it's better to be safe.
