Super VR-4 Air Dam

I just wanted to put this on here if anybody was interested.

This product has been long discontinued and no one has this product in stock in Japan, Sensemotorsports said they will start manufacturing more, but it will take a few months.
I had emailed J. Tsuboi, from Teiwa Corp. He said he can supply this product because he has a VR-4 Legnum/Galant.

"I bought these Carbon Air Dams from the Dealer a year ago, cost me 110,000 Yen plus taxes. They are installed and ran for only less than one month. No scratches etc... I had to change the front bumper to Vogue Aero Bumper so I took them off and they are well kept in our warehouse since then. If you wish to pay 100,000 Yen, I’ll send them to you immediately."

Maybe some lip kits, but not the Super VR-4 lip kit. That's exactly how it's supposed to be.

Now these look like the accents, I believe eran1ng is making the whole lip kit. The accents are CF I believe...I WANT ONE!

Yes, the '96-'97 VR-4. The '98 on VR-4 is different. Mochanges has the '98 on VR-4 bumper.


If those pieces are carbon fiber, you don't want them because they need to be modified to fit our stock bumpers and you can't modify carbon fiber. Now if you get the bumper shown above, then go for it.

the bumper is on my list too..but a current source wants 500 for just the bumper cover not including shipping...so needless to say im tryin to find on for liiiiitle cheaper

I doubt you'll find one cheaper.. unless you turn to ebay, but remember now these are JDM parts, and they're always this expensive..

no they are not always this expensive...the hard part is finding shipping...my father in law already found me the bumper cover for 125...but he cant ship it cuz its too big...thats our big problem..its a bulk item...only someone with a freight account (cuz of how large it is) can ship it...the post office wont F*** with it ...this is MY dilemma...but if u guys find out a better deal let me kno....im not bein a cheapskate by anymeans...i mean if u found a bumper for 125 (all day...this isnt a sale price...outta the yards not a scratch on it...he had like 3 more of em too all for the same price) but just couldnt find shipping and someone else wanted 500 PLUs shipping (another 125-150 im sure)....u'd hold up too

i would be really interested in buying the front bumper for ~$125 as you mentioned, and the accents for about ~$100 (converted correctly??).

my friend is getting a container shipped here to america from japan sometime soon, so maybe i can go ahead and get it shipped through there.

any chance you know what parts of japan the accents and the bumpers would be coming from?

any additional information would be extremely helpful.

Yes you would need a JDM Front bumper to make it fit correctly, considering you can't modify CF to fit our Stock Bumper.

To answer your other question, no it wouldn't just clip onto our cars.. You'd have to do some modifications to your crash bar to get it to fit correctly, and unless you get a set of JDM headlights there will be a gap if I'm not mistaken....Danger Danj, Cali, Reelax, and Mochanges have already done this conversion so you might want to talk to them to get the specific mods they had to do to get it to fit in there, as I'm in the process of doing mines, just waiting for my pieces to get here...

I don't mean to hijack this post in anyway, but when I see you guys throw ing around all these high dollar figures just for a bumper, I want to see you get the same effect for way less money. I just want to know if you guys knew that there is a company here that is currently making the Super VR4 lip kit in a 4 piece form to fit the USDM Galant? It will cost $350 plus shipping and should be ready by the begining of August. I know alot of people want that "true" JDM swap, but these prices are getting up there and get parts shipped is becoming a beast.

Did someone at Sarona actually tell you they had that bumper. When I called them 2 years ago, they told me that they don't have the bumper, but a lip.
