clearing out corner lights on a 2000

I am trying to clear out my front corner lights but can' t find the directions I had to do the job. Please if anyone has them and could e-mail them to me I would greatly appriciate it. [email protected] https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif

Clearing Corners for the 8th Generation Galant


Required tools:

cutting pliers (small size)
10 mm wrench
flathead screwdriver (medium size with minimum 6 inch shaft)
vacuum cleaner


Step 1:
Remove the front grill by pushing the top pin on the clip and pull the grill, do it on either side first. Careful not to break the pin of dropping it

Step 2:
Remove the headlight using the wrench. There are four screw to remove, two near the grille, one on top and one near the turn signal.

Step 3:
Slide out the headlight by sliding it toward the grille and pull it out. Remember to disconnect all the wiring for the lamp and remove the bulbs.

Step 4:
From the turn signal socket hole on the headlamp you can see the position of the orange lens.

Step 5:
Using a flathead screwdriver push the lens toward the main reflector. You can feel that you can slide the lens slightly toward. Push the lens on toward the main reflector, it might be a little hard, dont worry about scratching the orange lens, you gonna destroy it anyway.
Remember not to use the sharp flathead as it may scratch your lens if you miss.

Step 6:
The lens should now be loose inside the headlights.
Use the cutting pliers to break apart the lens from the main headlight socket hole. Remove the shards from the hole.

Be Careful the shards could be sharp.

Step 7:
Vacuum all the small parts from the headlights assembly.

Step 8:
Put your headlights back, give some white/ blue lamp and voila.
