I fitted an apexi rev speed meter to my galant, and gave it alittle test today.

Results:
BHP 211
0-60 6.48 secs
1/4 mile (well 400meters) 14.64secs and 153kph (approx 95 mph)

I have calibrated correctly but the times seem alittle low.

stock uk 2.5 V6-24 Galant. No mods at all!!!!!!!

nope it's not a VR4 i wish it was......

Its in at mitsubishi for new front discs and pads today/tomorrow, maybe i'll get one of there engineers to take it for a drive and see what he thinks.

But i didn't think i could get the 0-60 time wrong cause the meter is calibrated to my own speedo.

I have to agree with pinoy here

Max. output kw (bhp) at rpm 118 (158) / 5750
Max. torque Nm (lb.ft) at rpm 218 (161) / 4500
Maximum speed mph (kph) 137 (220)
Acceleration 0-62 mph secs 8.2

U sure you have set up the apexi rev speed meter correct
MPH not KPH for spped readings ???

just a thought

got the car back with nice shiny new discs and pads. took one the mits engineers out for a spin to see what he though.
He seem to think i have one of the 1st v6-24 engines that mits fitted into the galant in the uk seem they had alittle more horse power when they where first fitted compared to now.
He seems to think that around 200 bhp would be right for my year. he's going to have a chat with a couple of other people to see what they know. should have a phone call in the next couple of days.
also he timed the 0-60 and found it to be about 7 secs so it seems the apexi meter might be alittle out.
