A while back, I bought cali's old shogun bumper from Playa759 and never got it because FedEX destroyed it and didnt bother to inform either of us about it. We had to wait til it got sent back to him to find out. Pretty much broke it in half and shattered it near the bottom. Well I had already gone ahead and shaved my trunk door. I just found my digital camera and took a picture of it. Should be getting it painted in a few weeks (once I get my liscense back). Let me know what you think.https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

I still have some minor dents to get out so I'll take off the emblem when I do that. While playing Rally Sport Challenge 2, I notice I really like the rear of the Evo 8 rally cars. I might do something like this

(I'm referring to the decal on the back) What do you think?

I'm not the biggest fan of them. But for some reason, the look of it on the game grew on me. I'm usually more of a paint on kind of person over decals. (except for the HRS Motorsporst on the back window. I get a discount on parts by agreeing to have it on there.)

What did you use to fill it in with, it looks like metal, but can't tell for sure...

I took a 16 guage piece of metal and shaved it down to the basic shape. Then, since I was in Oregon and didnt have my regular work area, I used a regular hammer and a metal post to shape the top where it curves. Finished it up by grinding the edges until the piece of metal sat right inside the lip of the liscense plate area. I had a body shop weld the piece on and put the first layer of bondo so the metal wouldnt be exposed. Total cost:
$15 for metal
$100 for welding and first layer of bondo and primer.

I'm getting it painted for free from my aunt since she owns her own body shop in Oregon. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

i say if you're gonna design the trunk, design the whole car and have the look of a rally car cuz just the trunk would look weird. :?
