Thanks,

are we talking about where the lugnut screws onto? yeah i broke my front right wheel stud once. i broke the altima's also. ive replaced both of them. i got a replacement part at the dealer.

are u replacing one with drum or disc?

it was easy to do in the shop because i used an impact hammer to just pop the baby out, after taking off the caliper and rotor. then just suck it in from the other side using a nut and washers. more details if needed. play with it https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Is this easy to do in a garage? My front left one broke when I got my new tires. It's gonna cost $30 at Les Schwab. But I dont got much more than a basic tool kit.

Shouldn't someone make this tutorial over on the eclipse forum over here so it can be of use to us all?

No need to take it to the shop. It can all be done at home. I've already replaced 5 of my lug studs. First take off your calipers and remove your rotors. Next get a hammer and pound the lug stud out. Then all you have to do is put the new studd in. To do that use a washer and a lug nut and suck it in from the back. You'll probably want to use a breaker bar or something with a long handle for some good leverage.

BTW you can get new hardware at your local auto parts store. Should only cost about $2 - $3.
