Hi All

I am thinking of writing a small article for my loacl paper expalining details and specs for the many galant vrgs being imported here.

I need some information and tech knowledge on how the galant auto transmission works. it is generally refereed to as triptronic/tiptronic with a switch over to a mnaul type gear shift system.

any info please?

tiptronic tranny is the auto stick
automatic style tranny with the + and - that you can tap up and down to shift

the USDM eclipse's have it and lots of the Chryslers do to
wish it came in the G's

tiptronic/triptronic is no different than a automatic transmission. i love how stupid 40 year old soccer dads think they're nissan maxima is all uber fast cause it "triptronic" when it's no different than my auto pos transmission.

i believe the 9G's have them, but they are soo ugly, i wouldn't buy one just for the tiptronic https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif
