HP...HELP

hey everyone... i just got beat by an old man in a minivan n it really killed my ego today... i've had my galant for about 3 or 4 months now n i love it. i've done alot of cheap exterior mods to make it look good... but today i put my foot down n i've decided i definatley need to do some performance mods under the hood... i'm kinda strapped for cash... so i was wondering if ne knows some cheap ways to get more out of my baby. i'm for sure going to get an intake soon... but nething else i could do to get more HP... or at least enough to not get beat by a minivan? ne suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You wont get much gain for little money. I've increased my cars hp about 80+ WHP and it wasn't cheap to do.....but then again I don't get beat by minivans neither.....

The basic mods won't give you much of a gain. I installed a CAI and header and noticed very little change. Maybe a couple of HP. If you're looking for big gains, that's gonna cost you some bucks.
