materials needed:
1. 2 cans of R134a refrigerant
2. 1 R134a hose kit comes either with a guage or no guage (get the one with the gauge)
3. common sense

how to:
1. open hood
2. locate low side of A/C (blue fitting)
3. insert hose and gauge
4. check pressure if full done if low go to step five
5. put 134a in warm water for 3 mins
6 insert hose
7 start car
8. turn on A/C on full
9. open valve for freon
10. wait till full
11. remove hose and put back blue fitting cover close hood dispose cans in garbage and enjoy the cold a/c

thats actually a very poor way of doing it. you have no way to evacuate the system, you have no way of pulling it into a vacuum, and you have no way to actually measure the amount going in.

its better to have it professionally done, being as its so cheap these days. besides, if its low, its leaking somewhere.

one thing is for shure i used the guage to check the levels first if u read the diy i recommend to get the one with the guage and two there is a leak sealer in the freon that plugs pin hole leaks as for evacuating the system there is no need to
