This is what I need:

Clutch cable and shifter cables

Anyone know any good places online? And please don't tell me to call a junkyard.

Thanks.

Go to a junkyard :lauging:

Idk man, you can buy a 2g ss clutch line, it "should" be the same. But I dont thin kthe shifter cables are. I have 2g 98 GST shifter cables and they dont quite fit right. Did you try www.car-parts.com?

Clutch needs Master/ Slave, lines and accumulator, or the RRE stainless line that eliminates it.

Not a cable.

Just making sure thats what you meant.

Yeah I meant the line...my bad.

What's the accumulator? Will that come with clutch master or clutch slave say if I order it from nopionline.com?

And just to be sure RRE - Road Race Engineering?

I think I'll just minimize my pain and call / email the dealer.

Does anyone know if the 2g nt shift plate and linkage is the same as the 2g turbo?

After checking out RRE's site I think I'll just get that SS line so I can eliminate the "resevoir". While I'm at it I think I'll get those bushings as well.

But I was looking around the drivetrain parts and I have a question. Where does this go:

That goes inside your tranny, near the release bearing

if i'm not mistaken

Thats the actualy lever that pops the clutch release bearing out when you hit the clutch pedle. The clutch slave cyl shaft pushes into the end of the fork (the 2 prong part goes inside the tranny the single side is outside near the clutch slave) and that lil ball is the pivot point.

I didnt know about that lil reseviour..Whats it for and why does the SS line allow you not to use it?

The res ( aka to Mitsu as the accumulator ) is to smooth out clutch function for pedal softening. It uses a volume of fluid as a damper between the pedal and the clutch. Removed and the pedal is much more solid feeling and a tiny bit harder to operate. It makes the clutch and clutch pedal more connected when its off.

RRE has a ton of info for things like that on their site.

read that stuff, its highly informative

Yeah...after reading that I think I'll go on ahead and replace it.
