Damn those brakes are HUGE! I have 19" wheels but it's not the edge clearance. It's the spokes of the wheel that isn't clearing the caliper. A word of advice, if you are getting a big brake system from StopTech, please download the template and test your wheels for clearance first. If you haven't gotten your wheels yet but plan to get big brakes later, bring the template with you to the wheel shop when you are shopping for new wheels. I'm so disappointed; I missed the clearance by about 3mm. I know I can get spacers but don't want to go that option... I just thought of something else... I'll find out if this is an option.

Well, since these big brakes have separate rotors and hats, I asked them about hats that would automatically space out the wheels and they said that there's too many variables and setups, costs involved for a low volume and most of all, liability. Any time they start pushing out wheels from stock widths, wheel studs may not be long enough, tire rubbing on fenders, etc., etc. I understand that from a business perspective, that wouldn't fly. Since I don't really want to spend more for another set of wheels right now (and I really like my wheels), I might opt for very small custom spacers (about 3mm) if I really want the brake kit bad enough. I'm only touching over by 1mm and they recommend a minimum of 2mm.

around ~$1600. (not including spacers that could run about $150 or a little more for the pair)
