My mods I have done so far are:

Tint
Ok looking seat covers
Sound System (Panasonic deck and 2 amps, 2 12's)
13 inch LCD screen
Xbox/DVD Player
Dynamat Extreme

Mods that I will do in the next two months:

Rims (Chrome or White)
Change Light Bulbs (I want white low beams, any recommendations)
Short Ram Intake
Better sound system (it gets distorted around 38 out of 40 on volume, why? Also my bass shuts down on low bass songs or when volume is on 40 on some songs)

PICTURES SOON (around the 17th)

oh yeh, uhh, sorry about that post, i kinda get a lil mad, cuz i jumped the gun, and thought i knew what your problem was, but then it turned out i missed something, so i went back and edited it a little, sry. but i can always guess maybe, either your overpowering or underpowering your speakers, i dont think their should be a need to turn it up that loud, maybe u should play around with your gains a lil

im guessing that you have one amp for your subs and the other for your speakers? or maybe u have one amp for each sub, and ur using the HU to power your speakers, in which case, i was right in the beginning, that your HU is delivering "dirty" power to your speakers, so u will get distortion, but maybe u should explain how/what your amps are powering/connected to, it might help

I have a 1100 watt sony to my subs and a 500 boss amp to my speakers

Specs are:
2 12 inch subs
http://www.diamondaudio.com/MobileAudio/in...page=Subwoofers ('http://www.diamondaudio.com/MobileAudio/index.cfm?page=Subwoofers')
go under CM3 and pick model CM3 12D4

First Amp for Subs

Second Amp for inside speakers
Cant find it, it sucks so bad
its a Boss 2 channel 500 watt amp, but hey it was free

Well, I'm getting those subs too and there's no way I'd push them w. that amp. They are 500 watt RMS each. That amp can't handle those subs; I'm dropping mine down to 1 ohm on a Hifonics amp that is 1000 watts rms so each sub is gettin a clean 500 watts at all time. That may be your problem w. bad bass/cutoff

hey man if you are looking for a freaking pounding system check mine out on the link at the bottom these subs and amp i got for about 350$ for eveything you can get them on ebay just make sure you get the ones with teh big foam surround not the little these subs are 1000watts rms 2000watts peak 40lbs each they are freaking crzy i dont even have mine in the right size box adn they are crzy makes your nose tickle eyes wiggle
volfenhagis the company here is the part # zx-4812dvx
and the amp is 1600 watts but really i would go with a better amp cause its only rated at 320x2 at 2 ohms but here is the part #ZX-7180

no no no u then wire the subs in parallel so that your MONO amp is getting a 1 ohm load and 1000 true watts...

just like that. Bam, system is loud.

I have looked but I cant find it,
what does it mean by 2 or 4 ohms (like 400W x 1 RMS into 2 ohms), all I could find is its a measure of electrical resistance but, what does that mean with a stereo.

Serstylz2

the lower the ohm load, the more watts you will get from the amp

but also the lower the ohm load, the hotter the amp runs

then it should work fine, I can get another sony and use my instore credit and put them on 2 ohm load for 500 rms watts each for each sub and it should be good right ?
