Keyless entry horn not working.

Please help. I've been trying to get my car to honk when I close the door and I just cant get it to work. I've tried maybe a 100 times and still no joy.

Also, there is a little red light led on the left of my steering wheel and the dash. I'm guessing it for the factory alarm, however It has never worked and the fuse for the anti-theft is ok, so is the one for the horn. Is there a way to enable the alarm.

as for the LED, it could be aftermarket. the theft alarm indicator on the factory alarm is on the cluster
