I have a 01 galant and I need to know how to remove the cabin filter behind the glove box.

first of all. you gotta determine if you have one. since not all the 01's had it

open up the glove box and pinch the sides in. the glove box should fall down more. remove that.

then look directly behind the glvoebox. there should be 4 brass screws in a rectangular shape. if you have that, then remove it and you can pull out the rectangular tray with the filter.

if you don't have those brass screws, then you don't have the cabin filter
