those little screws wont come off i didnt try very long cuz the service manual says you need some kind of special tool from mitsubishi which really is stupid why couldnt it just be regular screws holding it on i need to test fit my intercooler to see how im ognna run the pipes.

Do you know how to get them off?

i dunno about you but the special tool i used was a phillips head screwdriver.

I used that little mini prybar I bought to clear out my corners, and that worked pretty well.

Are you going to try and fit your intercooler in the stock bumper cover?

i tried a phillips screwdriver but it just kept turning and turning the screw wouldnt come out

It looks like a mini crowbar:

I know what you mean by the spinning - what I did was pit the little pry bar under the screw grommet, then used a screwdriver to lightly turn the screw (don't put pressure on the screw, just turn it).

Special tool? wah?

The only difficult part in removing the entire bumper was removing the 2 bolts through the wheel wells.

Hmmm...maybe it's cuz I didn't have the special tool : (
