JDM Headlight Question

Out of the the JDM 1 piece headlights and the 2 piece headlights, which one is newer? Also which one do you think is cheaper? Thanks

2 piece JDM is from 1996-1997; 1 piece were from 1998+ (other countires may have differnet years, i'm going strictly by the japanese model years). prices vary widely depending on where you are getting them. both versions use the same bulbs (H7 low, H1 hi, 1157 corner w/ a little bulb socket mod).

expect to pay $350-$400 for JDM headlights.

thats the thing, i bought or at least paid for the 1 piecd JDM lights, but the guy sent me the 2 piece lights. I sent him an e-mail and he responded by saying that the 2 piece lights are a lot more expensive than the 1 piece. Now, I have an 03 Galant. Would I be able to fit the 2 piece lights on my car the same way a 1 piece would? I guess what I am asking is if I would have to do additional mods for the 2 piece to fit as opposed to the 1 piece? Thanks

fit wise i'ts like the 99-01 vs 02-04 USDM headlights; they are the same, just look a little different. the 2 JDM version headlights (1 and 2 piece) have the same dimensions and you will have to cut both metal on the car and the headlights themselves to fit in flush. do a search for my name and "JDM headlights" since i have posted full instructions a bunch of times.
