dont mean to be an @$$ but please search...these questions have been answered be4...also if u go to www.eclipseforums.org they have the same motor as us...so u can search that site also...

(**sorry just tired of explaining this stuff when i have-and others have-so many times)

https://www.thegalantcenter.org/search.php ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/search.php')

**EDIT** yes that turbo and manifold should work...as far as an intercooler its up to u ...it can be as big or small as u want....just know that too big or too small will not be efficient

Ugh.....excuse my dumb@#$ question, (Iknow my newbie colors are showing now) but is there an advantage that one manifold has over the other; between the 1g and 2g manifold.

the 2g manifold supposedly flows more and for some reason the 1g manifold is MORE prone to crack (the will both crack..just the 1g usually does be4 a 2g will)

I dont know what your transmission looks like but you can fit an EVO VIII manifold on a 2.0L 4g63 Galant engine. If you have an EVO VIII turbo you can fit that to that manifold. The only thing you need is to swap your startermotor for an EVO V to VIII startermotor because thats in your way to fit the turbo to your engine. If you give me your transmission number I can look up if the startermotor change is neccesarry.

well being that (assuming you have a 4 cylinder) your motor is exactly opposite of my 7g, and MY evo 7 turbo setup is useless because it hits my alternator.........then it should be perfect for you.....and 1 and 2g manifolds will hit YOUR alternator since the turbo is ont he other side............and im selling my turbo setup....pm me with an offer if you want.......---->my comments were only assumptions of the obviouse in my eyes....please correct me if im wrong<-----

1g/2g exhaust manifolds will work, just they will have to turn the turbo 180 degrees so it will not hit the alternator. Cant you do that with your evo setup soltero?

Should be 4 bolts holding it onto the mani, just unbolt it twist it then bolt it back on. Only problem I see is the lines may need to be redone to fit and the outlet to the intercooler on the turbo may be facing the block. SO you would need a custom J-pipe. Do you have pics of the turbo?

Hello Soltero112,

Sorry man I thought we were talking about 8G. You are right its only a solution for a 8G. Sorry I cant make you an offer because I already have my EVO VIII turbo and manifold. The only thing I need is a EVO VIII startermotor. Do you have any adress in the US where I can get one as an european customer.
