we already have a tutorial that is already "stickied" for this https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewt...opic.php?t=5482 ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewtopic.php?t=5482') but if you can offer more than what the current "sticky" has, then feel free to post and we can update the "sticky" we have already.

like i said, if you can produce something better, then we can make it a sticky. if not, then don't even bother.

Hey krispy does the trunk lid off balance and kinda falls forward like in your picture? Cause i think it would be a cool mod but i would want it to sit level without falling over.

to make it level couldn't you add bump stops where the hinges bend in the L formation? i dont know, i remember trying it on my 7G and i quickly found out why no other 7G has done it....and kept it

not quite sure what you mean by <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>to make it level couldn't you add bump stops where the hinges bend in the L formation?</div> but maybe some added weight to the lighter side....or a magnet lol You'll have to post a pic of what you did to it so we can all see your wonderful work https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

One more thing, let me know if you have any leakage problems with it, or raddling, cuz that might change my mind about the whole project to begin with.

lol. no leaking, my car has seen some rain since ive done the mod and no signs of water inside the trunk. no raddeling eather ive toped my car out 3 or 4 times(123 mph) with no problems from the trunk.

if I had any problems with it would you think that i would offer a tutorial?

i was thinking maybe u can mount a bar from one side to the other...kinda in the spot where the missing bolts are. a strong sturdy bar...
