What do you mean regular belts? there all serpentine 4 rib belts. There hasnt been a v-belt on any galant since 1987 =P

Your galant belts/pullies are exactly the same as the eclipse. Thats why we can use the eclipse under drive pullies.

I dont think they are called serpentine, I think surpentine refers to the 1 belt driving everything like in ford and chevy's..The belts are the same 4 -6 rib flat belts though.

Why do you want just 1 belt? And what model eclipse has just 1 belt that you wanted to use the pullies from? The spyder is the exact same engine as us, including 3 accessory belts not 1.

I was hoping that maybe a eclipse or something newer might have the same mottor but a different set of pullies. I think three belts are a pain in the ass and we have almost no room to work on that side of the motor. I am going to have to change my timing belt really soon and it looks like a pain in the ass even thought I am using a hoist and air tools I think it is still going to suck not having any room over there by the belts.

Its actualy not that big of a pain in the ass I've done quite a few belt changes and never once hoiseted the engine up =P

If you REALLY wanted to 1 belt it can be done, if you think reallly hard lol..
