[b]Does anyone know of anywhere in NY I can get some custom FG done? I'm not sure what I want yet, but I want to take out the 2nd set of cup holders in the armrest and put something there. Any suggestions? Also, I put this in another post, but I didn't have any luck, I'm looking to find either velvet, crushed velvet, or thin suede, as close to the color of this post as possible, any info that will help ease my search will be greatly appreciated.

well i dont know about the FG but i got my suede off of ebay. it is black so it was pretty easy to find but you should try there. it is 54in wide and 4 yards long. enough to do my doors and headliner for like 35 bucks. to narrow your search a little the sellers ebay name was robert41 and the ebay store name is Nancy's stuff. hope this helps

the suede is actually kinda thick...it has a backing on it. i will be putting it on the headliner this weekend hopefully so pics will be up soon. i also plan on putting it on the doors. i am pretty sure i am going to have to reinforce the headliner with some kind of material to brace it from sagging. i was thinking some kind of 1x2in wood planks stapled on the inside for support.

was trying to show the indention for the visor in that last pic but it didnt come out very well the super 77 glue was easy to use and is holding everything really nice. the suede wasnt as thick as i thought it was and didnt have to reinforce the headliner at all. am going to do the doors and the back dash soon and also i have vinyl on order for the dash. Eventually i will get around to painting all of the plastic as well.

any questions just hit me up

To put the sued on the headliner did you peel off the stock headliner or leave it in? Also did you take the liner out of the car completley or do it while it was still in the car?

i am trying to do a tutorial on everything i did to put it up, but do to a hard drive malfucktion it is going to take me a bit longer than expected. other than that to answer your questions: i took the headliner completely out of the car and used 3M super 77 spray glue in my living room. And i just glued the suede directly to what was there.

plexiglass is pretty much like glass but made out of plastic.

where fiberglass the one that you'd want to use for your stereo is some sort of cloth or strands that of cloth.
