Power windows disfunctional

HI

The power windows system broke in my driver's side door. Does anyone know how to fix it? The little engine works but I think the cable broke apart. Does anyone has a picture or scheme of the system and how it works? I would greatly appreciate any help

u need the whole power regulator for that side...comes with motor and cable. i don't think they sell it seperately, well, at least not to me. i bought the passenger side at the dealer for (if i remember right) about $120

Did you install it yourself? If so, could you briefly describe the process?

umm..........yes...did it myself...fairly easy...
take off panel...take off bolts...be careful with glass....i stuck a screwdriver under the glass through a little hole to hold it up while i took out the old and put in the new....then...backtrack and put everything back....


once u open up the door panel and take off that plastic cover, you should see everything...kinda like self explanatory when u see it.
