Someone mentioned a stroker kit to take the 6G72 to 3.8L, I'd like some more info on this.
I have an I4 galant, but I have a complete 6g72 apart in my garage, waiting for a set of 3000GT TT dohc heads ($800 a pop) and an intake mainifold from a 99 Diamante.
My block is a Ver 1 Circa 1987 6G72 had 12 valve sohc, and super crappy intake manifol, stock producing only 150HP, (My I4 has more than that at this time). I'm planning on going full twin turbo(100%custom) with full aftermarket ecu, and tranny. Not sure if it's going in to the galant, ... at first I may put it in an old daytona or something, for tweaking. My turbo selection is hinged on the stroker kit, and what the estimated PSI a block THAT bored will be able to take. My hope is to get the kind of HP, 3000GTtt tweaked are seeing (650+)

Thanks for any info

there isn't a stroker kit for taking a 3.0l to 3.8 there is one for taking a 3.0l to 3.3l though. If you want the 3.8l you will need the bottom end from the 3.5l deamante then use the stroker kits rods I think. The 3.5l in the deamante is the same bottom end as the 3.0l from what I have been told. I haven't torn down a 3.5l to check for sure. Talk to the guys at RPW they know more than I do.
