8g projector heads*interest*

please mods contact me before making any changes to this thread. i didnt post this on the GB section because i dont even know if the company is gonna be interested or not. if they dont i'll ask to have this thread deleted

i contacted MaxZone/DEPO a "performance lighting" taiwanese company with HQs here in my backyard, like 10 mins away.
their 3g eclipse heads

i havent gotten any replies yet BUT i wanna get the interest going to show it to them. i also wanna show them what you guys wanna be paying. just remember that the nicer the heads are the more $$$$

Yeah, was watching that on the 3G board, and those lights were snapped up like hotcakes, especially since they were selling them for only $225 a set(!)

You can put me down on the definately interested list, especially if they are dual projectors and have angel eyes. I talked to a rep for Depo at NOPI but them didn't seem to have any interest in making lights for the 8G. I also talked to TYC and they "claim" to have some coming out for the 8G in Jan., but they seem to say that a bit fast before looking at a catalog or anything, so I don't know about that.

i dont wanna burst anybody's bubles but dual projectors for less than 200, i doubt that will happen. like a member said, 3gs are 250 for single projectors with no angel eyes...........but you never know

now here is my thing, HID produce less heat and the bulbs come in different sizes why would it matter if they "able to accept them" . no matter what i think they will fit the projector.

you can put HID in a regular projector. won't argue on that. but the beam pattern would look like shit.

i've taken a part one too many projectors before, not a pretty sight, but i would imagine that its not that hard to replace the shield and lense.......correct me if i'm wrong

I think we can mark this one as dead, as I've e-mailed the company a while ago when Z started, and they replied back that they were already talking to someone (presumably Z), so I left it at that. Z hadn't heard back from them either. :evil:
