I have taken the wing off before and the car just didn't have that drift look im going for, plus It'll look and flow great when i get done with it. Im going for carbon Fiber on pink, I dont think EVERYONE will bash me for it, but there will ALWAYS be haters.

decent , but needs a paint job and cleared corners!

PinayPimp

Paint is coming right after the kit is molded and my flares 2. Clear corners are debatable, I dont know if i like the look. reminds me of a honda

Well, I was thinking of painting it candy pink with some white and purple graphics. I got some purple neons on the inside too. I am getting a carbon fiber hood but can't seem to find any that aren't OEM style. Also i've been searching for someone to make a carbon fiber trunk lid. Can you guys give me any clues where to find one? And i was thinking all momo interior, i found some nice seats but they'll cost a G!! If anyone knows where to find MOMO stuff for cheap please fill me in!

I always liked the 6g's...and wouldn't mind owning one. Yours looks Maganda, but I would use a different wing though...kinda ruins the flow of the body style. The car looks NIZZY! 8)

very sweet.....i like the body work very much. if I'm not mistaken, VIS has an OEM style CF hood for 6g's. i'd have to check.

just get a stock jdm corner park lights, it will look good, trust me, i have it on my 92 galant and its made by tyc, you can get cheap momo accessories back in manila, i had a friend back in manila who had a 92 lancer in fushia metallic pink, since the lancer and galant are almost identical in body shape it will look good on your baby. if you want a tutorial on how to modify your front grille maybe i can help you!

But I like the wing, maybe its just me...it just dont look good without it. I took it off for the winter so it wont be in the next picture

really nice work that kinda what i wanted to do to my 89 GSR [euro model] but i backed her into a car and couldn't be bothered she is way to much work and alot harder to customize the a 94 so thats the road im taking now ... i still drive my 89 thats what made me fall inlove with the Galants in the first place

once again awesome job .. can't wait to see how you plan to do the interior

PinayPimp
12-22-2004, 09:39 AM

Strewth Ruth -great job!

only criticism is the wallpaper on your car domain site. makes it look like a dogs breakfast and hard to read. Lose Uma and it'll be sweet.

PinayPimp
12-26-2004, 09:19 AM
Get rid of uma?! Sorry, no can do. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif I have a question for everybody. Where can I find a Carbon Fiber Grill for my car? I saw one on ebay a couple weeks ago but i let it go like a dummy (plus it didnt have any pre-drilled holes)

eu4ia
01-02-2005, 04:25 AM
i did a black mesh grill on my 89 with the new siver mitsu badge it turned up pretty well.

PinayPimp
01-02-2005, 10:08 AM
The one i saw had a carbon fiber frame and then a mesh grill with the mitsubishi emblem in the middle. It was nice...im still looking for it

I got a JDM front grill, painted it the same colour as the car, and replaced the mesh with the black mesh used iin security screens now. I also put it in the spots for the driving lights.

like http://www.securitydoor.com/capture.html ('http://www.securitydoor.com/capture.html')

the mesh is angled, so if you put it on the right way, it will look like a solid black piece. looks great on a white car

eu4ia
01-02-2005, 06:12 PM
i just took the current drill and cut her apart and used her as the frame for the mesh to sit on

Oooh, competition https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif Maybe when you get ready we can meet up at HIN and have a Showdown :winky: speaking of shows, how many of you guys are entering in shows this spring? oh, and I have a poll question... Should I go with Bride Seats or MOMO? I'm about to start ordering my interior parts and I'm torn between the two.

FastNFabolous
01-03-2005, 10:50 PM
Get bride if you can.

PinayPimp
01-04-2005, 12:22 PM
I already picked out momo pedals, steering wheel and mats. I havnt seen much bride accessories but I think the bride seats would still match good. I wanted the momo acropolis but they are like $1,000 for a set. I'll make my decision by March and let you guys know. Oh, and another question.... does anyone know where i can get a carbon fiber trunk lid??

I am very interested in seeing the final product. Makes me itch a little to consider buying a 6g GVR4 again.

PinayPimp
01-20-2005, 01:26 PM
I have just shaved my emblems and that keyhole on the fuel door. I just got my momo pedals and mats and im waiting on the steering wheel. I am still deciding whether im going to get a hood, seats or sound next. Of course hood being the cheapest and ICE being the most expensive. I will keep you guys posted!

I'd say hang with these guys and you'll have one sweet ride. They will steer u in the right direction for any modifications you wanna do.

looks good. wanna trade? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif the previous owner put one before he sold it to me. Never heard of the company though.

PinayPimp
01-28-2005, 11:10 PM
What is the name of the company? I got a question for you guys. Do any of you own those racing seats that arnt reclinable or have you ever sat in one? I need to know how comfortable it is and what angle its positioned at. I'm thinking of getting those kind of seats but I dont know if that would start getting on my nerves after a while.

about the racing seats well there racing seats meant for racing not for daily driving. Thats if you get tru racing seats.

I was acctually trying to stay away from the whole "fender flare" look. i wanted the whole body wider. Kinda like how those euro cars have it. If i dont find a kit soon then i will just get tail light conversion and im getting my front bumper molded next weekend. i'll keep u guys posted.
