Custom Cat-Back?

I have a stock exhaust except for a Tanabe race style muffler. I'm going to get headers, but I was woundering how to make a custom cat-back. Is there anywhere that you can buy the cat. itself to make one and how much of a sound difference would that make?

well you don't need a cat for a cat back exhaust. a cat back exhaust is all of the exhaust that is after the last cat. so you don't need a cat.

as for the sound things will change. that will depend on the type of pipe you use, its size and the resonators if any that you use.

but if you are getting headers i say get them first before the cat back. you might be satisfied with the sound with just the headers alone.

for headers should i go with the RPW street design or the Race design. RIPP mods are out of the question, to expensive.
