Cone replacement time

I've had my cone on for about 6,000 miles now... it looks a BIT dirty and it seems like i was getting slightly better gas mileage when it was new... when does everyone else usually replace/recharge their cone?

i've had mine cone filter for my 1st gen injen intake for about 30k miles now. hasn't been cleaned or replaced yet. still look almost as clean as it was when i first got it.

but yea mine is a k&n filter and them filters work better when the filter is slightly dirty.

but depending on your application and where you have been driving the interval before you clean/change you filter will change.

i clean my filter every other oil change and convert to short ram when raining. also if u have a hole in ur filter thats probably bad to use so i would say if u have a hole in the filter buy a new one its about 60 bux
