Has anyone made an adapter to put in the cupholder of the 8g to allow a can of pop to fit more snugly?

Um, yah - it's called a coozie - or coolie, depending on where you're from. Fit's perfect and holds a can tight...

POP wow I haven't heard that in awhile. Ive only had to say POP before when I was out in Erie, PA for my friends wedding. They looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for soda.

In KC there's only Dew or Coke. But some people will say pop for generic purposes.

I think a coozie fits snugly around the can. I was thinking of a dougnut that would just reduce the size of the cup holder. I liked the dash mounted cup holder my Mirage had, even though it got in the way of the heater controls. Got to have a place to put my pop! Soda is that carbonated water stuff that tastes funny.

My 01 had one of those. It wasn't that helpful because it didn't stay in the hole and it also didn't stay on the pop can!

i say just the coozie....

as for what we call it.......

In Mississippi, we call it Coke, say someone wants a drink, you're like "you want a coke?" and the other person says "ya sure, i'll take a sprite (or w/e).." So we say Coke, for generic purposes of soda, pop, etc....

Keith, go to the dealership, they sell a little black rubber thing that goes in the bottom of the cupholder, I got one with my car, but lost it (or threw it out) it's basically a cozie for the can....I dunno how much they cost. And I call it Pop or Soda....

Devious, do you call a bag a sack, like when you are in the store they say "Do you want the receipt in the sack?" haha, my family is in Kansas and everything is "sack" and not "bag"
