Custom TV dash - relocate AC and stereo

its actaully a swap for the OE parts w/ shipping both ways paid by the buyer. i think the guys is trading in the car... that's why the purchase price is so low.

I also thought that moving the AC controls was impossible to do?

Not completely impossible, but VERY hard to do. It's because of the push rods our systems use now. I think if you could get that system from over in Germany that one of our members had, you could extend the wire and put the controls anywhere. Then, that would just plug in to the AC unit. Not 100% sure on that though. :thumbsup:

It's not difficult at all to move the a/c controls down. I posted a pic of my dash with them moved down months ago... Also, since I chose to go with 2 small screens in the dash, we've been looking to do 1 bigger screen for somebody. We have an extra center dash piece laying around here at Street Effectz, so if anyone is interested, please let me know. [email protected]

why would you want to do that for you to trade with him you would have to send all your trim pieces, your airvents and center console cause if you look at where the deck is that is custom and then you might end up loosing hundreds of dollars to replace it, this guy is running a SCAM!!!, he trying to get peoples shit and not send anything back

Guys Listen up. The ebay thing is a total scam. I contacted him right after the auction opened and he replied that he had somebody to trade already. The guy is trying to scam your parts. Remember when we hat the Meet in Hagerstown. and we were at the mall when you were telling everyone you were going so fast the shoe polish came flying off your car??? :jester: Well over in my car what I did was put the Car in Drive actually 1stgear when I had the TV going so you could see it. I guess you could do the same thing with the CD PLayer. that's why I wouldn't want the CD PLayer on the bottom. I want the Radio up top. Mold the TV into the A/C slot and the Gap underneath and Put the AC controler in the GLove box or something. I know Chris, Galant ESP, Had the same setup in his Car and I wanted to do it but noone wants to be responsible if they break that center console peice.

OK GUYS,
I am the one that got the deal from for this setup. I have sent out my parts already. he seems like a real nice guy was willing to work with me. I am still waiting on my parts to get back, supposedly they are on their way back to me, but who knows, u never know what he is up to. Now i am driving around with no interior and hoping to get the parts ASAP. If anyone wants to help if that deal goes bad would appreciate it.

I have a single din 5 inch touch screen radio in my car and was looking to move my climate controls down to the bottom to get me some extra room for my bigger screen. I was going to cut the trim a bit to make room for the screeen but as far as the controls I'm stumped. Any ideas!

It's actually really easy to move the climate controlls down. Take off the trim and mess with it.
