What are the Wires?

I have plugs under my driver and passenger seats, they look sort of like a phone plug but bigger. I dont know what they are, i dont know if they go to something in the car or not because i bought my car from an auction. (biggest mistake). :?:

They are the wire that plugs into the harness under your seat for the seatbelt sensor. You know when you start your car and the seatbelt light on the dash is on.

Odly in my 97 they do nothing at all. I dont have a seatbelt warning light that ever turns on lol. When I ripped my seats out I never plugged that shit back in.
