Damn thing keeps sliding off, guy at the dealer said it was the harmonic balancer? A new one from the dealer is going to run $126.13. Someone serisouly help me with this. Is it hard to change or replace? god wtf

Eh could be as simple as a damaged pulley. Check the pulley(both crank and ps pulleys) and see if there are any bends in the walls. I dont know anything about the harmonic balancer. Its sliding off at the crank pulley right?

the part that the belts run on , you can slide it right off

or you could just buy an underdrive one on ebay for 40 bucks. Big debate on the need for harmonic balancer etc...I've had one on for a good year now about 15k on it with no probs..and no noticeable power gain either lol

Neighbor works for the dealer, he looked at it and said the rubber is gone, so Im going to buy the new one 2mrrw.. then replace it.
