Go to any autoparts place and buy yourself a locking gas cap that uses a key to unlock it. Locking the gas cover is too much trouble and not worth the effort.

I'm not talking bout the round cap !! i'm talking bout the outer lid that like a rectangle !! like a Mercedes when you unlock the car that thing automatically unlock also. i want that kind of locking mechanism if possible https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

drill a hole from your trunk to the gas door compartment. mount a selenoid for a power door lock to a latch welded to the inside of the gas door. hook up the selenoid to your alarm and now your just like a benz. unlock the car w/ the alarm, the gas door is unlocked; arm and the gas door locks. a good alrm shop should be able to do this for a few hundred.

I know exactly what you were talking about. That's why I said gas cover instead of gas cap. Sorry didn't word it better.

I do like Reelax's idea but costly, hehe.
