looks like a cross between a 2 door stratus and a tiburon,,,,,,although not bad with a manual 6 speed 260hp 260lbs of torque car...no FI tho...and more weight........

hmm, dont know why, but the 1st one reminds me of a tC, and the third one reminds me of a cougar, obviously they dont really look like them, but just like at a quick glance.

BlankMan

I see a cougar in that third one. I also see a lift kit on that third one... talk about clearance...

yea if that thing had a nice platform like the 4g63t,,it would be more appealing,,although that motor they have in it now has more displacement,,,its prolly alot heavier and less "mod-friendly" as a turbo 4..... i see a 350z in the rear angle shot

Looks like an accord coupe rear ended a Tib. But its nice though, 260hp, all it needs is a SDS...

From the looks of the interior, I think Mitsu has been checking out some of our members pictures. But it does resemble a Tib when you 1st look at it & a 350z back.

how many times is this ugly ass eclipse gonna come up on this damn site?
censee your a veteran, (wispering) search.

from that one side view, the rear resembles a Solara to me.

i heard that these are sitting on the 9g galant frame.

01GalantLSV6

yes it is built on the 9G frame.

my rundown of the appearance:

front nose: A
Side View: A
Rear View: C
Wheel Gap: C
Interior: A+

and im sure there will be a cheaper, lighter version using the 2.4 litre mivec inline 4 cylinder motor, just like in the galant and lancer ralliart.

the production shots have never been brought up, only the concept with the glass roof and all. not that i would know, but, yeah.

The interior is bland and tacky. Japanese car makers need to add some european styling to their interiors. Who cars that the interior is 5 different colors of vinyl! POS.

projector fogs, but no projector headlights...boooo!

it needs side and rear skirts.

looks like a 2G eclipse sans the spoiler. oh my 260hp is nice! but rwd or awd would be nice though, but i doubt it. nice is 6sp manual too.

anyone know tha price?

The Eclipse is getting less and less sporty looking. Its gonna be huge...its sharing the same platform as the new 9g Galant. Looks more of a luxury coupe than a "sport" coupe. The 1g and 2g's were the Eclipse last true "sporty" form.

Mitsu is probably utilizing something similar to the Lexus RX300 tail lights.

I guess they don't want you to put in an aftermarket sound system.
