rear window defroster

My rear window defroster just randomly stopped working sometime this week. I checked the fuse and its fine, checked the lines on the windows, no breaks in them. The switch seems to be working fine, the light still lights up when i push it in and i hear a clicking under the steering column when i push the button. Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong?

what did u use to test the lines? did u use some kinda of continuity checker like a test light or a multimeter? some people just look at the lines and things just look ok.

did u check the connection that the lines have with the wiring from the car?

the clicking sound is the relay for the defroster

well i went to check the connection with the multimeter, take out the back dash panel and found the the connection to the actual window was just hanging out there :oops: .. so i just soldered it back to teh window, not a good solderer so i hope it works... :roll:
