Just received my March 05 issue of Sport Compact Car and they had a column blurb about a Ralliart Galant from SEMA. Quick info:

"The 3.8 liter 260 hp, MIVEC V6 is left untouched while the suspension is lowered with a Road/Race Engineering coil-over system, a rear stabilizer bar is added and big 245/40R-19 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-DS tires are fitted around Racing Hart F10 wheels. THrow in some Brembo disc brakes and front and rear strut tower braces and the car promises to be much more nimble that the stock Galant."
"What really makes this car tasty is its appearance. The Ralliart-designed prototype rear spoiler, front and rear fasciae and side skirts make this rather boxy machine look dang sleek. Inside there are Recaro thrones for the forward occupants, and a Recaro microthrone for the prince or princess strapped in the back. All the upholstery and trim has been tweaked for maximum visual impact as well. This thing just looks good."

They show a pic of the Ralliart G, plus a couple of shots from the inside, and I'm really digging it myself. I know some people will stick to their negative 9G guns, but at least Mitsubishi is making some sort of attempt for us in the US o A.

I did a quick search and here's a link to some pics of the Ralliart concept Galant

That car is freakin sick!! 9G's were ugly until this one. I'm ready to trade up! Did it say anything about the price?

What's wrong with the 9Gs :?: It is bigger, powerful, and safer. They're not that ugly :?: Are they? Only cons is it's weight but other tha that, it's fine https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

I like it. I get lower insurance bill and more people to cram in the back sit. I drive little kids as a part time job and the safer the car is, the happier the boss is. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
