I ordered some PIAA 6" round driving lights to put in the grill of my new eracing bumper.

These are the lights I ordered.

A quick search found this picture for reference:

Everyone I talk to has a different opinion; I was wondering what my fellow g owners think.

They would look good of the bumper had round openings to compliment the shape of the fog lights(Like the Sooby front in that pic or like a EVO 5 front)....but if you are planning to use the Erac1ng bumper it won't look good IMO.

yea i agree. the bumper has more of a rectangular openings to me so they wouldn't look right in the outer openings. maybe in the center opening.

but yea if you get them put them in and see how they look b4 you drill moutning holes.

The subaru lights are probably pretty close to the size I am getting. They are going in the eracing bumper.

I would like to put them in the center opening on either side of the intercooler, but I don't think I'll have the room. I'm going to install the bumper and intercooler tomorrow, so I'll get a better idea of how much room I'll have.

Definetly.

I think you're right. I hope I can get them into the center opening, that would probably look better.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'll post pics when I decide what I'm going to do.

Here's some pics of them sitting in the center and outer openings.
I would appreciate y'alls opinions.

I may have to put them in the outer openings because there may not be enough room for the intercooler and the lights in the center opening, unless I moved them out further, somewhat in front of the intercooler.

Those fogs are HUGE...they look taller in size compared to the headlights.

i haven't had a chance to fit my bumper yet, but i was wondering if the stock fog lights would fit. Did you have the stock ones before?

Yeah, I know. They are not really fog lights, they are driving lights. The beam pattern is supposed to be twice as far as high beams, but more focused. I wanted something bright enough for high speed driving on poorly lit back roads.

I didn't have the stock fog lights. I believe (not 100% sure) that the mounting bracket for the stock fog lights is attached to the bumper support. Since the bumper support needs to be removed, you may have to fabricate a bracket to attach the fogs. I'm sure there is more than enough room to fit them in, but I'm not sure what you would have to do to mount them.

Ah, good reason to have them - I say outside.

id go with outer... if u drive at night ur low beams would make the car look smaller if u put in the middle...
