ok, so this girl i know burns the living crap out of my passenger seat with a cigarette one night when we were out drinking. so now i'm looking for a decent set of seat covers for the front and back that will fit well but won't break my bank. something under $150.00 if possible. i tried the search but couldn't find what i needed. cheers.

Hmmm... maybe your search button is broke. My search of "seat covers" turned up some good starts:

https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewt...pic.php?t=29866 ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewtopic.php?t=29866')

and

https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewt...pic.php?t=29036 ('https://www.thegalantcenter.org/viewtopic.php?t=29036')

There were alot more, but these I'm familiar with.

here is a set of seats on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33701 ('http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7949637594&category=33701') they are in your budget too. the auction says they come with lubar control, whatever that is.

dude, my friend did the SAME thing and so he want to Wal-Mart and i made him buy me a pair of bucket seat covers that fit great for like $16 bucks. i thought it was a joke but they aren't that bad. they're pretty comfortable too https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Lumbar support is that handle on the top part of the seat that sets how much support you want for your lower back. Feels good after soccer games https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

I was going to try here ('http://www.legacyseatcovers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LMS&Product_Code=mitsubishi_galant_fs'), prices aren't that bad, $205+ depending on what you get (cloth, vinyl, neoprene)

Here is a pic of the front of an eclipse that they did.

those don't look too bad but they don't come with the rear seat covers. i have to have the front and back seats match.

You have to look at the site a little better bro, backseat of an eclipse.
http://www.legacyseatcovers.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/2002_Mitsubishi_Eclipse_Rear.jpg

Look at this page ('http://www.legacyseatcovers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LMS&Category_Code=mitsubishi_sc'), where it says 'Custom Front Seat Covers' 'Custom Rear
Seat Covers'. You have to choose what style front and rear seats you have.

how would the seat cover work if i have that little fold down part on the backseat of my 8G? cuz i would understand a 40/60 seat cover, but this compartment isnt the whole seat....?

The G's been in the shop for about 2 months, so I can't remember exactly what our backseat looks like right now https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif If you click seat options under custom rear seats, it shows all the options for backseats.

right, hence i said "too bad it doesn't COME WITH the rear seat covers". the total price would be $410 for the front and the back. for a little more money i can get a full kat. leather kit. cheers.
