i was curious what to do when the INJEN intake filter gets dirty? do we gotta buy a new one or can we clean them with the k-&-n filter cleaner system???

the injen filter is realyl a k&n...so just use the k&n cleaning kit

Yep, it's a K&N, but don't clean it just because it's dirty, unless you have at least 30,000 miles on it. Otherwise you're wasting money and ruining the efficiency of the filter. K&N recommends 50,000 miles between cleanings for normal environments. The dirt actually makes the filter more efficient. It's more than about looks. But all cone filters have a sweet spot. So you might want to think about turning it 180 degrees so it sucks are evenly on both sides.
