you have that disco ball thing that reflects light from the front of the bulb to the big chrome reflector in the back of the headlight

then you have the orange reflector people take out when clearing corners

then you got the reflector in the tails...

that's the shield. outside its shiny, but inside it is flat black or grey. and it's purpose is to prevent blinding oncoming traffic
